The Concorde pin badge by Clivedon is available in two finishes – 24 carat gold plating or nickel plating.
Concorde
Jointly designed by France and Britain in 1962, Concorde was an impressive tailless airliner. With a maximum capacity of 92 to 128 passengers, the Concorde airliner was known for its supersonic flight which more than halved travel times. However, due to the sound generated from this aircraft, it was restricted to transoceanic flights only. In total, 20 Concordes were built between 1965 and 1979 which were equally split between the UK and France. After 27 years of successful service, the aircraft retired in 2003.
