Boeing 747-400 id a wide body airliner which was introduced in 1989. Accommodating 416 passengers in a three-class layout, the Boeing 747-400 was the most popular 747 variant. The aircraft featured increased wingspan, a glass cockpit, improved engines and a stretched upper deck (as see in the 747-300). In total 694 were built between 1989 and 2009.
